Ms. Wenwen Li's Personal Statement - candidate of Student Director for CI specialty group

Ms. Wenwen Li is a graduate student in the College of Science, George Mason University. Her research interests include distributed geospatial information processing, semantic web, and internet-based spatial information retrieval.

Ms. Li has attended several research projects, such as Earth Science Gateway (ESG) and Earth Information Exchange (EIE), at GMU. And she has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals/conferences. In 2006, she won full scholarship for “Summer Grid Workshop” at UTB, Texas.

Ms. Li serves as the CISG acting secretary/treasure. She manages technical sides of several projects.
