Dr. Shaowen Wang received his BS in Computer Engineering from Tianjin University, China in 1995; MS in Geography from Peking University, China in 1998; MS in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Geography from The University of Iowa in 2002 and 2004 respectively. His research focuses on cyberinfrastructure-based GIS, computationally intensive geospatial problem solving, and the performance and visualization of geographic analysis based on high-performance and Grid computing. He has published dozens of peer-reviewed papers in these areas. cheap cialis Dr. Wang is the founding director of the CyberInfrastructure and Geospatial Information Laboratory (CIGI), Assistant Professor of Geography, and Senior Research Scientist of the National Center of Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
